Delivery information

We provide fast, cheap and secure delivery worldwide, with orders delivered to almost anywhere in the world in around 7 workings days or less*. Yep, that's fast!

All goods are carefully packed - with snowboards packaged in our special custom made Discount Snowboards delivery boxes - so you'll receive your gear in perfect condition.

Order your snowboard or gear through us and you can relax as all orders are sent fully insured, with our shipping rates already including comprehensive shipping insurance.

We keep you fully informed as your order is processed. We send you realtime emails notifying you of the status of your order as it is verified, packed, then shipped. Where available, once shipped you will receive a package tracking number that you can use to track your order with the courier company through to delivery.

We pack and dispatch all orders within 72 hours Mon - Fri.

New Zealand Deliveries

We use UPS Express to provide fast, cheap and secure delivery.

For most customers within New Zealand, once your order has been dispatched you can usually expect delivery within around 72 hours.

Small items/orders are sent via Australia Post, which takes around 5 working days.

Australian Deliveries

Low and easy fixed price shipping rates, irrespective of how many items are included in your order (personal shoppers only):

VIC: AU $12.50 total
NSW, QLD, SA, ACT, TAS: AU $20 total
WA: AU $30 total
NT: AU $45 total

And as compared to ordering your goods from overseas, you don't need to worry about getting hit with additional Australian import duties and taxes. The price you see here is all you pay; no hidden costs!

Also, due to the large numbers of packages we ship worldwide, we are able to provide the best shipping rates in the industry.

As a guide;

a snowboard to the UK, Canada or USA is only AU$49!

a snowboard to Japan or China is only AU$59!

Small items/orders are sent via Australia Post.

International shipping charges are based on the weight/size of the package. To keep it simple we've set a fixed price for "small packages" like goggles or accessories, and then a price for "regular packages" which includes boards, boots, bindings and bags.

You can check the cost of shipping to any international delivery destination by adding the product(s) you are considering into your cart and proceeding through the checkout prior to the final payment screen. Alternatively, you can just ask us.

To confirm the transit time from our warehouse in Melbourne Australia to your delivery destination, please check the international courier's website for details. If still unsure, then feel free to contact us for clarification.

Please note:

1. We can not send goods to PO Boxes.

2. We can not guarantee delivery times as once orders have been dispatched they are in the hands of the courier. However, we always do our best to ensure your order arrives on time, and for 99% of orders this is achieved.

3. All deliveries require a signature on delivery. A good option to avoid delays is to have your gear delivered to a work address if there is someone always there who can sign for the goods when the delivery is first made. If you choose to have your order delivered to your home address and no one is there to receive the goods when the driver comes to make the delivery, it's not a big deal. A card will be left so that you can call the driver to arrange a time for them to come back when someone will be there.

4. If on the off chance your items arrive damaged, please keep the packaging they were sent in and be sure to contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can arrange for the courier to collect the items concerned and rectify the situation.

5. International customers (all customers with a delivery address outside Australia): you are responsible for all local duties and taxes. Occasionally the postal service does not charge duties and taxes. If for any reason duties, taxes, and other fees are not paid by the customer resulting in a charge to Discount Snowboards by the shipping company, Discount Snowboards will charge the customer's account for these fees.

6. Total delivery time is a combination of the time for product packing/dispatch and the courier's transit time.

7. Goods are not dispatched until payment has been verified. If we require further details from the buyer or credit card holder for security verification, fast dispatch of goods is dependent on timely response to such requests.
